Walden Pond State Reservation

Join a park interpreter to discover the literary genius that is Henry David Thoreau’s legacy. He produced many published works including Walden,  A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers, and several prominent essays, which include On the Duty of Civil Disobedience,Walking and Slavery in Massachusetts. This program will interpret these and other works by Thoreau as participants walk along scenic Walden Pond. September 5th, literary piece:“Walking”
